Alpha-lipoic acid may prevent atherosclerosis in diabetics

This powerful antioxidant may prove to be a very effective way to prevent the increase in cholesterol, atherosclerotic lesions and other health problems associated with atherosclerosis in diabetics (and possibly even non-diabetics!).
