New research shows that getting a little more sunlight during the day can make you more alert and help you avoid energy slumps. If your energy levels tend to lag in the afternoon, try going outside for a few minutes, opening some windows, or even buying one of the new “full spectrum” sun lamps for the room/office where you spend most of your time.
