Eating lots of red meat may raise your risk of developing pancreatic cancer. According to researchers from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, long-term consumption of red meat was associated with an increased risk of pancreatic cancer while consumption of poultry (chicken, turkey, duck, etc.) was linked to a decreased risk of this very dangerous form of cancer.
It appears that eating less steak and hamburger — and lots of vegetables — is a good way to help avoid pancreatic cancer.
