A drug made from the milk thistle plant appears to be able to destroy lung cancer in mice, according to researchers at the University of Colorado, Denver. Silibinin, a compound already being studied as a possible treatment for prostate cancer, appeared to be able to reduce blood flow to lung tumors and stop their growth.
Milk thistle is already considered to be a powerful remedy by many natural health experts. Hopefully silibinin treatments will be able to help millions of cancer patients in the near future!
